Three kids in Havana introduce their friends and family, showcasing wildly different lifestyles. We learn their beliefs, dreams, and hopes.

Synopsis

What are your dreams and goals? Get inspired by this group of young people who face obstacles but remain determined to reach their goals.

Anthony (8), Carolina (11) and Camilo (9) live in Havana, in completely different environments. Anthony goes to church on Saturday, listens to stories about God, and makes religious drawings. His parents are unemployed. He plays soccer bare feet on his run down street.

Camilo is looking for a balloon fish at the Malecon. With his mom, he stays here and there. At his mom’s friend’s place, he has a cat and small turtles. He philosophizes about life outside the earth and life after death.

Carolina doesn’t think there is anything after you die. Her life seems fine with lots of friends, nice stuff to play with, and exciting times ahead: high school. She's hoping it won’t be too hard to make new friends, or a boyfriend.

Anthony would rather not talk about love; he is happy with his family in their little house.
