2023 | 23 minutes | Chile

Founded in the foothills of the Andes, Fruit Haven is an ecovillage inspiring vegans to live sustainably by cultivating organic fruits and vegetables.

Synopsis

Nestled at the foothills of the Andes, on the edge of the Ecuadorian Amazon, Fruit Haven Ecovillage is a thriving permaculture fruit farm and sustainable community. Founded in 2016 by a group of young North Americans and Europeans, it emerged from a shared desire to create a home where they could fully embrace a vegan and raw-food lifestyle. What began with a single property has since expanded into a flourishing ecovillage spanning over 150 hectares across seven independent properties.

Co-directed by its members, Fruit Haven is dedicated to inspiring vegans to live sustainably by cultivating organic fruits and vegetables in harmony with nature.
