Synopsis
In a rural corner of the Dominican Republic, the story of Genesis — a peasant woman who is offered by her father to marry Sandro, known as El Blanco, to "improve her race"— takes place. Her dream of a happy and peaceful life is interrupted by two unforeseen events: the impossibility of getting pregnant and the arrival of her estranged sister, Mariella, who unleashes a storm.
