2019 | 26 minutes | Argentina
The Gauchos del Mar brothers explore the Falkland Islands on a 50-day journey, discovering culture, wildlife, and waves by land, air, and sea.”
Synopsis
In this TV series, the Gauchos del Mar brothers explore the Falkland Islands (Islas Malvinas), a 700-island archipelago. They embark on a 50-day expedition, immersing themselves in the islands’ culture while searching for waves on foot, in a 4x4 truck, on inter-island planes, and aboard a sailboat.
They explore uninhabited islands under constantly adverse weather conditions and are surprised by the natural beauty of the coastlines, landscapes, and local fauna.
Each episode presents a different way to explore the islands: by air, by land, and by sea.
